All you marketers and designers passing around large PDF’s, Photoshop files and hi-res photos for print projects know what a pain it can be working within the attachment constraints of email (and with non-savvy FTP users).

For you (and me) there’s YouSendIt. The service lets you transfer files up to 1 GB and believe it or not, it’s completely free.

My guess is that they’ll offer premium services in the near future. Right now, files are only available for up to seven days. After that, you have to upload them again. I could see premium features including the ability to store files indefinitely (for frequently accessed files), among other things. Who knows what kind of interesting stuff they’ll cook up…
