Pondering Minuscule Notebooks

Dell Inspiron Mini 9 netbook

Kris showed up at Web 2.0 Expo NY with an Asus Eee PC. (He stole it from his son!) ;)

It was the most interesting little thang: it ran a Xandros Linux distro, had FireFox, Thunderbird, Evolution and Skype installed and weighed next to nothing.

There's a part of me that hates to be without my fully equipped MacBook, but there's something so nice about a tiny, lightweight netbook.

I've got my eye on a Dell Inspiron Mini 9 running Ubuntu, but it seems like every PC manufacturer is making netbooks these days (except Apple).

Which would you recommend?
