Apple has a problem with your talking about the problem

Rather than address the "yellow discoloration" problem that customers are having with the new white MacBooks, Apple has chosen to lock the forum discussion on the topic.

Apple, if you're not going to address the concerns of your customers, then at least allow people to continue to discuss it in a forum that you can easily monitor. Shutting down the discussions on your site is only going to drive people to other places to share stories and solutions.

I, for one, would like to know what Apple has to say about the discoloration as it's the only thing stopping me from taking a trip to the Short Hills Mall to buy a shiny new MacBook. If it won't stay that way, at least for a reasonable amount of time, then I'm going to hang on to my Powerbook until they figure it out.
