I want a MacBook and am making overtures toward purchasing one. That said, I'm gradually becoming more concerned about picking from the first crop of MacBooks. Why? Let's review:
- Excessive heat. (Regardless of the existence of the plastic strip.)
- "Mooing", assumed to be caused by the fans spinning up due to excessive heat.
- Discoloration of the plastic casing, suspected to be caused by excessive heat.
I'm considering waiting for the "Revision A" MacBook.
However, this could present a small problem for me as my wife is eagerly awaiting her "new" Powerbook. In other words, she's already called "Dibs!" on my current Mac and is growing impatient with the speed of the handoff.
Maybe I'll just get a black MacBook so I can avoid hide ignore the case discoloration.
