Web Users can't Distinguish Search Results from Ads

The AP reports that only 1 in 6 web users can distinguish paid search results from unbiased ones on the popular search engines, according to The Pew Internet and American Life Project. Based on this data, Steve Rubel postulates that these same people probably also confuse blog posts with real news. I might have to agree.
